There is so much to do in Montreal...aside from childhood memories, of course. For starters, Montreal is one of very few large cities in the world that is an island. It is also one of few large cities that has a mountain popping up in the middle.

We visited St. Joseph's Oratory, the great green dome landmark up on the mountain, where Little Lady wanted to climb all the steps with me. We ended up climbing all those that go straight up in front, but we missed the second set above. No matter, we made up for it by following the outdoor garden, which climbs up and back down again.
